Dennis loos Digital Marketing Expert.The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), has appointed Mr. Ikenna Onyemelukwe, as the head of its new Digital Marketing Department. Onyemelukwe is a digital marketing and digital media expert, who has worked for the years in advertising and digital marketing.
The board in a statement, said that the appointment. Which was based on the agency’s successful experience in carrying out various digital projects. It also expressed that digital marketing expert position has a broad scope and maximum contribution to the company’s target market.
Dennis, who has over 20 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing strategy. And customer experience design said that he looks forward to building upon the invaluable experiences he’s developed. Working with a team of professionals, with the aim of increasing the company’s revenue stream.
“Digital marketing is here to stay, and digital media agencies are proving themselves as business enablers with the technical competencies to add value to organisations. And individuals through an integrated approach to deliver marketing solutions that are technologically robust. Unique and customized to meet the client’s needs.”
According to him, the new department has the largest team of professionals in Nigeria. With the average age of about 30 years old. He added that this is where he can add the most value by combining his long time experience. And developing top notch strategies to support the Board’s new growth strategy.
He noted that as a consulting firm, digital marketing requires an in-depth knowledge of a client’s business environment. How best to reach them using existing or new digital marketing channels, while also understanding the marketing opportunities offered by social media. He also mentioned the importance of the role of content in the digital marketing mix.
While announcing his appointment, Dr. Simbi Wabote, NCDMB’s Executive Secretary, said that the board is glad to have Onyemelukwe on board as the new head of digital marketing. “Onyemelukwe is one of the competent Nigerians we have been able to bring on board to help advance the growth. And development of the agency. We are happy to have him. And we will be supporting him to ensure he succeeds in his new role,” he stated.
In the statement issued by the board, Onyemelukwe said that it is an honour to serve NCDMB in this new capacity, noting that he is looking forward to making a difference. “NCDMB is a huge organisation with a vast wealth of experience and I am eager to make a positive contribution towards the future success of the organisation, as well as, in helping to grow its revenue streams.”

Prior to joining NCDMB, he was responsible for strategy, and managed campaigns for L’Oreal Nigeria. Palmolive, BET, Stanbic IBTC Bank, MTN Nigeria, Zenith Bank. Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB), United Bank for Africa (UBA), among others. He has over 17 years of eHGHGxperience in digital marketing, digital media management, web design, website development, content creation and strategic planning, in web, traditional and digital marketing.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Lagos. And a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Data Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
